Abstract - Descriptions of 14 new braconid species are presented, they are as follows: Bracon (Bracon) andriescui sp. n. (Romania), Centistes dilatus sp. n. (Nepal), C. splendidus sp. n. (India), Hydrangeocola bol­soni sp. n. (Argentina), H. coartata sp. n. (Argentina), H. perardua sp. n (Argentina), H. topali sp. n. (Ar­gentina). H. transversa sp. n. (Argentina). Microchelonus incrassus sp. n. (Finland). Polemochartus aboletus sp. n. (Hungary, Switzerland), Yelicones divaricatus sp. n. (Kenya), Y elegáns sp. n. (Tanzania), Y tenuis sp. n. (Australia) and Y vojnitsi sp. n. (Tanzania). Keys to the Hydrangeocola BRÈTHES (Neotropic Region), to the Yelicones CAMERON (Ethiopian Region) and to the Polemochartus SCHULZ species (Palaearctic Region) are given. With 98 figures. subfamily Euphorinae (Centistini) Centistes HALIDAY Centistes HALIDAY. 1835: Ent. Mag. 4 (1834): 462 (as subgenus oiLeiophron NEES, 1818), type species: Ancy­lus cuspidaats HALIDAY, 1833. Hitherto ten species of the genus Centistes HALIDAY had been described, the desc­riptions of the eleventh and twelfth species are presented hereunder. The species are distributed in the Holarctic, Ethiopian and Oriental Region (SHENEFELT 1969). Subse­quently the species are enumerated in groups according to the regions in which they are distributed: Ethiopian Region Centistes flavipes SZÉPLIGETI, 1911: Kenya fossulatus GRANGER, 1949: Malgasy fulvicollis GRANGER, 1949: Malgasy ophthalmicus GRANGER. 1949: Malgasy Oriental Region Centistes splendidus sp. n.: India Nearctic Region Centistes claripennis (ASHMEAD, 1900): USA laevis (CRESSON, 1872): Canada, USA polims (ASHMEAD, 1900): USA Palaearctic Region Centistes cuspidatus (HALIDAY, 1833): Europe. USSR dilatus sp. n.: Nepal fuscipes (NEES, 1834): Europe scymni FERRIÈRE, 1954: Germany. Switzerland
