Gills rosy. Stem 4-9 x 1.5-2.5(3) cm, cylindrical, sometimes attenuated towards the base, silky white, apex may be with a rosaceous shade. Ring thin, fragile. Flesh on cut-surface almost unchanging or may be yellowing. Spores 6.5-8.5 x 4-5,/um. Cheilocystidia absent. In light coniferous woods, sometimes under deciduous trees. CAPP. Gills first greyish. Stem 6-9(11) x 1-2.5(3) cm, ventri­cose or slightly radicant, dirty white or light rosy; finally ochre orange coloured. Ring vanishing or remnants of it at margin of the cap. Flesh more or less yellowing, may be orange colour in the stem base. Smell later like of Corydalis . Spores (7.5)8-9 x 5-6 jam . Cheilocystidia absent A. heimii BON (= A. veneris (HEIM, et BECK.) BON, Psalliota aestivalis MOELL. var. veneris HEIM et BECK.) 3b - Cap more or less viscid; later with wide, yellowing, sometimes somewhat olivaceous squames on white underground, 4-10(15) cm. Gills greyish rosaceous. Stem 8-18 x 2-4 cm, cylindrical-clavate , white yellowing. Ring narrow, with yellowish flocci-squamules at the margin. Flesh somewhat turning rosaceous. Terri-odorate . Spores 7-8.5 x 5-5.5 jam. Cheilocystidia absent. In frondose woods. WASS. I: tab. 77/a; WASS. II: VI/1 A. wasseri BON et C0URTEC. (= A. longicaudus WASS.) 3c - Cap radially silky fibrillose on white ground, fibrils sticking closely together too, 5-15 cm, colour not changing, only after a day yellowing. Gills long vividly rosy. Stem 5-10(13) x 1-2(3) cm, cylindrical or attenu­ated towards the base, may be deeply imbedded in soil, white, after a day yellowing towards the base, finely squamose often in zones. Ring double, broken up into squames on the underside. Flesh almost unchanging, later yellowish in the base. Smell not like of almonds or anise. Spores 7-8(10) x 4.5-5.5 jam . XV. group: Augustus la - Cap vinaceous-brown , purple, reddish-lilac squamose-fibrillose , 5-8(10) cm . Gills long pale, then greyish. Stem 7-9(11) x 1-1.5 cm, may be bulbous, white but turning dark yellow towards the base, naked. Ring simple, yel­lowing. Flesh yellowing in the base. Spores 4.5-6 x 3-4 jam.
