fore I submit limited, diagnostic descriptions and illustrations of the most important characters of the new species and, in order to facilitate comparison, of E. caseyi. In all other respects of characters I refer to the detailed redescriptions of E. caseyi (= Uloporus oralis CASEY, 1889) (KASZAB 1981, TRIPLEHORN 1965, TRIPLEHORN & WHEELER 1979). Enneboeus caseyi KASZAB, 1981 (Figs 11, 15-17) Uloporus ovalis CASEY, 1889: 185. — Uloporus ovalis: TRIPLEHORN, 1965: 360; TRIPLEHORN & WHEELER, 1979: 245. — Enneboeus caseyi KASZAB, 1981: 102, 107 (nom. n. for Uloporus ovalis CASEY, 1889 in order to avoid homonymy with Enneboeus ovalis WATERHOUSE, 1878 owing to the synonymization of Uloporus Casey, 1889 to Enneboeus WATERHOUSE, 1878). Measurements of a male specimen from Panama: 12 km W El Hato de Volcan. TL = 1.69 mm; TW = 1.02 mm; TL/TW = 1.65; PL = 0.51 mm; PW -0.94 mm; PW/PL = 1.84; EL = 1.02 mm; EL/PL = 2.00. Variability of body length in 51 specimens: 1.42-1.81 mm. Colour dark blackish-brown. Body form broadly oval (Fig. 11 ). Pronotal and elytral punctuation coarse, dense, punctures separated by distances about equal to puncture diameter. Punctural rows on elytra usually distinct. Tegmen: Figs 15-16; penis with duct sclerite: Fig. 17. According to the present state of knowledge, it is by far the most frequent and widespread Enneboeus species in Central America. TRIPLEHORN & WHEELER (1979) listed a number of localities from the southern United Stated, Mexico and Panama. New records from the same countries are presented below.
