Distribution: This is the most widely distributed lagriine species in Australia, ranging from the Kangaroo Island and Mt. Lofty Ranges, South Australia, in a continuous strip to southeastern Queensland. Scattered localities are known from northern Queensland, too. This is the only species that occurs in Tasmania and the islands of the Bass Strait (Fig. 90). Non-type material examined.
