Material examined. — Among the type material preserved at ORSTOM (Bondy, France and Paris collection) I selected the lectotype and paralectotypes ( dV/çç); further all the material of both collections was tag-mounted. The following specimens were collected by DR. F. BIN in Somaliland: 1 o , III. 1977; 12 o ? , IV. 1977; 14 $$ , V. 1977; the following specimens by DR. OLMI also in Somaliland: 2 . III. 1980. and by MR. A. WATSHAM in Zimbabwe: 3 $$ , V. 1980. The following material has been identified in the CNC: 4 9? , Salisbury, 5. VII. 1975, A. WATSHAM; 1 $ Salisbury. 10. XII. 1974, WATSHAM; 2 $$ , Salisbury, 1. VI. 1976, WATSHAM. Distribution : Cameroun, Senegal, Somaliland and Zimbabwe. Hosts. —• Since the type material of G. mirperusi is a mixture of three different species, we are not quite sure whether Homoeocerus yerburyi DISTANT (RISBEC. 1955) and l Mirperus jaculus (THUNBERG) are both hosts of G. mirperusi. Furthermore. RISBEC (1950, 1. c.) reports Nezare prunasis DALLAS as hosts of G. mirperusi; other unidentified hosts "ex punaises sur Cailudratus (?)" are quoted on a slide (No. 89) in the Paris collection. Ethology. — The egg-shell of M. jaculus from which adult of G. mirperusi emerged have no peculiar colouration. Variability. — No appreciable differences in the size may be found in the material examined; though the colour of the specimens collected in Somaliland and Zimbabwe have antennae and legs darker than those bred from Senegal by Risbec among which only the male, excluding the last 4 antennomeres and coxae brownish, has the rest of antenna and legs yellow. Remarks. — G. mirperusi as mentioned above is closely related to G. kelnerpillaulti sp. n. from which it differs mainly by having T2, 71 distinctly rugulose for about their length like in G. rugulosum.
