Kamijo, K.: Eulophidae (Hymenoptera) from Korea, with description of two new species
Fig. 2. Chrysonotomyia yamagishii sp. n. Ç : fore wing. C. yamagishii sp. n. seems to be allied to C. pulcherrima KERRICH and C. auripunctata (ASHMEAD). It may be distinguished from pulcherrima by the smooth first tergite, the black bristles on the frontovertex, and the colour pattern of the body. From auripunctata it differs in the longer postmarginal vein, in the densely reticulated mesoscutum, in the gaster which has three bands, and in the very narrow frontovertex. Distribution: Korea. Chrysonotomyia sp. Prov. South Phenan: 1 Ç, Bon-ha ri, on the river Te-dong, 45 km E from Pyongyan, 23. V. 1970 (No. 19). — Mt. Sudosan, Kyongsangpuk-do, 8 9 1 çf , 9-18. VII. 1971 (K. YAMAGISHI). The present specimens fit the original description of Ch. germanica (ERDŐS), 1956, except for the shape of the male antenna. They are very close to, or might be conspecific with, germanica. Omphale sp. Prov. Ryang-gang: 1 9 > Chann-Pay plateau, Mt. Pektusan, Mu-do-bong, 2100-2200 m, 25. VII. 1975 (No. 288). This specimen agrees with the diagnostic characters of O. salicis HALIDAY given in GRAHAM'S key to the British and Swedish species of Omphale (GRAHAM 1963, p. 243), except for having the gaster more elongate, 2.7 times as long as thorax, last tergite very long, occupying one-third length of gaster, nearly six times as long as its basal breadth. I am not certain whether this is within the range of variation of salicis. Omphale lugens (NEES) Eulophus lugens NEES, 1834, Hym. Ichneum. affin. Monogr., 2: 76. Omphale navius: GRAHAM, 1963, Trans. Soc. Br. Ent., 15: 255. Prov. Kanwon: 1 9 » Kum-gang san, Sam-il po, 29. V. 1970 (No. 56). — Mt. Sudosan, Kyongsangpuk-do, 2 9, 27. V. and 1. VI. 1970 (K. YAMAGISHI), 1 9, 1-4. VI. 1971 (S. SUZUKI). The above specimens agree quite well with the diagnostic characters of lugens used in GRAHAM'S key to species of Omphale (1963). Distribution: Korea*, Azerbaidzhan, Europe.
