and two veins rather forming an arched vein together (i. e. not meeting with each other angularly as usual). d% somewhat longer than d\-D± longer than high (3134 : 26, X 100). Nervellus of hind wing strongly incurved (Fig. 3). Abdomen somewhat longer than thorax. Tergite 1 (Fig. 4) broadest at its median part, its proportional length to basal, median, and hind width as 35 : 18 : 26— 27 : 21, its hind horizontal surface densely rugulose. Tergite 2 transverse, more than twice shorter than tergite 3, its hind margin sinuate. Tergite 2 with more or less weaker rugulosity than tergite 1, further tergites subrugulose (i. e. with feebler sculpture than tergite 2). Hypopygium surpassing end of abdomen (Fig. 5). Ovipositor sheath long, as long as hind tarsal joints 1-3 combined. Head, antenna, thorax and abdomen black. Tegulae black. Palpi yellowish brown, brown, or blackish brown. Hypopygium brownish yellow. Legs reddish yellow, coxae-trochanters black, basal third of femora 1-2 and basal fourth to fifth of femur 3 blackish, 2nd trochanter of hind leg more or less light reddish yellow to brownish red. Wings feebly brownish fumous. Carpal vein, stigma, metacarp, r x + cuqxi-L somewhat opaque brown to blackish brown, further veins light brown. rf. Similar to female, 2.5 mm long. Disc of mesonotum and scutellum with weaker punctation, more shiny. Wings hyaline. Legs darker, femora black, fore femur blackish brown to reddish brown. Host unknown. Localities. It seems to be nearest to A. cloelia NIXON (Switzerland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia) but differs from the latter by the combination of the following features : A. cloelia NIXON 1. Body sylphid, 2.2-2.5 mm long 2. Head (in front) not lengthened on its oral part, one-fifth to one-fourth broader than high. Cheek shorter than basal width of mandible. 3. Head (from above) clearly broader than thorax (33-35 : 25-28, x 63) (Fig. 11, in PAPP 1973: 291). 4. r x shorter than cuqu i and meeting with each other in an angle (Fig. 12, 1. c). 5. Inner spur of hind tibia shorter than half basitarsus (6 : 14)*. 6. Hind basitarsus 0.6-0.66 as long as tarsal joints 2-5 together (20 : 30-29). A. assimilis sp. n. 1. Body avarage in size, not sylphid 3 mm long. 2. Head (in front) somewhat lengthened on its oral part (Fig. 1), its breadth equal or subequal with its height, cheek as long as basal width of mandible. 3. Head (from above) slightly broader than thorax (44-45 : 40-42, X63). 4. r t and cuqu l equal in length and rather forming an arched vein together (Fig. 2). 5. Inner spur of hind tibia as long as (or slightly longer than) half basitarsus. 6. Hind basitarsus relatively long, 0.70.72 as long as tarsal joints 2-5 together (25 : 35-32). * In the original description (PAPP 1973: 291) the proportional measurement is given as "(14:6)", however, this is an error and the two numbers, meaningly, must be written as (6:14).
