Aedeagus long, narrow, flattened, its anterior third with a small sclerotized knob (Fig. 1: A). — Females : Corpus bursae soft, with a large stelliform structure (golden yelow after preparation). Cervical section of corpus bursae strongly sclerotized, bilaterally with characteristic alate appendages. Apophyses anteriores short, posteriores long. Papillae anales oval, large (Fig. 2: A). Differentia subspecifica: The new subspecies differs from the nominate form principally by the following characteristics: basic color paler, rather sineless (nominate form vivid yellow) ; hue of basal and median fields hardly different or agreeing, entire forewing densely irrorated with brown scales, not smooth. In the genitalia the shape of the valva is the most characteristic: the lower "wing" terminates obtusely (elongate in the nominate subspecies). Ecology. First stages and foodjdant unknown. Univoltine, on the wing in May —June. Distribution. Hitherto known only from Mongolia. — Locus t y picus : 20 km E from Somon Lun, 1180 m. Expansion average 28 mm, extreme values: 25—30 mm. Form, colour and pattern. Forewing an isosceles triangle ; termen slightly arcuate, apex obtuse. Hindwing rounded, margin slightly crenellate.
