The species mainly differs from S. exigua, whose ratios of individual numbers evolve regionally similarly to it in Hungary, in the centre of its individual numbers falling slightly more to the east. The available phenological data render, unfortunately, not much assistance in establishing the number of generations. The daily dates of collectings follow one another at a uniform distance and without any considerable interruptions even if specimens more than the usual had appeared within one year at a given locality.
