Scaphites (Sc.) ? hugardianus D'ORBIGNY (Plate II, Fig. 9) Remarks: Stone mold of a living chamber from Bakonynána, G. The dense, even decurrence of the ribs, the 6—7 flat tubercles, and the flattened whorl strongly resemble the characteristics of hugardianus. However, the exemplar differs essentially in its size (width of living chamber: 30 mm.) from the hugardianus specimens occurring in the area and thus differs from it only in dimensions. No other feature can be studied in detail. Scaphites sp. Remarks: Stone molds of the living chamber of two specimens (M. 63.1487; Pénzeskút, without any nearer data). The stone molds are very abraded, but traces of the ribbing and the marginal series of nodes on the ventral side are still discernible. They resemble the species hugardianus. The constriction and widening, respectively, of the aperture can, however, be well observed; in these features, they wholly resemble Sc. (Sc.) yonekurai YABE. Fam.: Oppeliidae BONARELLI, 1894. Subfam. : Aconeceratinae SPATH, 1923. Genus: Aconeceras HYATT, 1903 ( = Adolphia STOLLEY, 1907). Aconeceras sp. cfr. ? nisus D'ORBIGNY (Plate IV, Figs. 1, 2) Remarks: A single specimen from Pénzeskút (M. 63.1499). D=?45, A = 22, Lt=ll, D —U: 6. The shell is strongly involuted, flat, smooth-sided. Its habit, the observable (incomplete) strongly zigzaggy sutures define the genus rather securely. Occurrence: West Europe, South Africa, East Australia, According to WRIGHT, the species survived until the Lover Albian. Fam.: Desmoceratidae ZITTEL, 1895. Subfam.: Puzosiinae SPATH, 1922. Genus: Puzosia BAYLE, 1878. Puzosia (Puzosia) sharpei SPATH (Plate III, Figs. 6, 7) 1854. Ammonites planulatus J. SOWERBY— SHARPE, p. 29, pi. 12, fig. 4. 1860. Ammonites Mayorianus D'ORB. —PICTET & CAMP., p. 283 (pars). 1923. Puzosia sharpei SPATH, p. 46, pl. 1, fig. 11, 12; text fig. lib. 1968. Puzosia (P.) sharpei SPATH— RENZ, p. 21, pl. 1, figs. 4a—b, 8a—b; text fig. 6b, 7e. Examined material: Two specimens from Pénzeskút, K 2 , and Bakonynána, B. Description: Altitude and width of the whorl nearly equal. Umbilical width large, umbilical margin rather sharp though rounded. Two definite, S-shaped constrictions present per half whorl, proclinate in ventral median line and pointing forward in a weak apex. Fine ribs appearing between the constrictions, also arcuating anteriorad in the ventral median line. Form of sutures characteristic of the species.
