spots on apical hooks; digitus and lamina volsellaris similar to „Gonatopodini çf sp. 1" (RICHARDS, 1939 p. 223 Fig. 30B = distivolsella resp. basivolsella), digitus with two feeble teeth before apex bearing a curved bristle and one minute, straight one; lamina volsellaris with four apical ventral bristles, paramere curved apically with dense long bristles, basiparamere narrow, basal ring hyaline. The genitalia are extremly similar to RICHARDS'S Gonatopodini çf species 1 or 2 (1. c.) and species 4 (= Dicondylus bicolor). On the basis of the remarkable morphological differences, I cannot identify it with them, and relegate it to the genus Dicondylus. Agonatopoides PERKINS Agonatopoides PERKINS, 1907, Rep. exp. Stat. London., 89, p. 195 According so the diagnostic details given below, G. striatus KIEFFER is best relegated to this genus. Mr. C. M. YOSHIMOTO has been so kind to the examine the pronotum of Agonatopoidessynchronus PERKINS holotype, on which he has found a light furrow like impression present just in front the rectangular like disc, which, in fact completes PERKINS'S publication. Autriche: Triest, en mai. Envoi de M. le Dr GRAEFFE" and later (1906, p. 500): „Patrie. Hongrie: Körtvélyes (Musée de Budapest); Triest (Dr GRAEFFE); Angleterre (collection de MARSHALL); ce demie exemplaire a été capturé dans un nid de Formica fusca et pris par erreur pour G. pilosus (voir p. 91) ".In Coll. Hung. Nat. Hist. Mus. the following specimens are to be found labelled as: „Körtvélyes, leg. CHYZER 1882", „226", „From Nest of Formica fusca, Plymouth", „pilosus THOMS. Coll. MARSHALL" in KIEFFER'S writing, „44", „pilosus THOMS." in MARSHALL'S writing, „Typ. KIEFFER Gonatopus striatus" and „Dicondylus striatus K. typ." in BIRÓ'S writing (white respective red label). The correct data of the latter specimens according to KIEFFER, are: „Angleterre (BIGNELL)". Together with Mr. M. FISCHER at Vienna, we have established that the specimen from Trieste is, unfortunately, not to be found in the Viennese collection. Due to the considerations outlined below, the designation of the neotype is necessary. I suggest to regard the specimen „Körtvélyes", originating from the localities listed by KIEFFER, as a neotype (left tibia and tarsal segments, as well as mouth parts on slide; right fore tarsal segments 3—5 missing), (Coll. Hung. Nat. Hist. Mus. in Budapest). The neotype corresponds to KIEFFER'S descriptions and later publications (1906 p. 500, 1914 p. 76), but the exact definition of the proportions of the body parts need certain additions, as follows: Genae strongly thickened but head rounded behind
