Cattle dung. „Közös erdő" near Beregda­róc, 2 Sept., 1964 (spores: 5.3 x 2.7 p.; I failed to observe in the two sporal apices the small drop characteristical of the genus Phomatospora). Although the perithecia were situated on the surface of the substrate, and the substrate also seemed to be strongly different, I am not convinced that the fungus could not be identical with the species Phomatospora berkeleyi SACC.
