Ductus bursae and bursa copulatrix virtually indistinct in the three specimens (this is perhaps due to over-potashhig, but it took five days for the dark specimens to clear sufficiently in 10% KOH at room temperature); in the female of the other species of Ectinorus the ductus bursae is strongly scleroI'ig. 5. Spermatheca small, bulga globular, with internal striation, hilla wider apicaily than basally and with some internal striation. Length: $ 2 mm. Ectinorus onychius onychitis (.JORDAN & ROTHSCHILD, 1023) From nest of Akodon olivaceus brachiotis: 1 24. IV. 540 m.; from the nest of an undetermined rodent: 1 10. VI, 700 m. Hitherto this subspecies had been recorded from Cholila in the Chubut Territory, ex Ctcnomys mendocinus haigi and Akodon iniscatus, and from near San Ca dos de Rariloche, ex Euneomys dabbenei, Oryzomys longicaudatus, Notiomys jossor and Rattus norveyicus.
