Malán, M.: The body development of village children in the Bán River Area

Comparing the data referring to the body development of the Bánvölgy children with others taken in the same years by similar methods [Anthropological Institute, Debrecen; RAJKAI (12,13), DOBÁNY (14), EIBEN (6,7)], no deviations exceeding the limits of significancy can, in my opinion, be found. Such differences might be shown in town populations in other regards (FARKAS, 6; DEZSŐ, 3; BORDÁS, 2; VÉLI, 13), but they can all be referred to dissimilarities between original and environmental conditions. The publication of our data aims to serve the possibilities of collation with present and future investigations. References: 1.
