Ctesias serra (Fabricius, 1792). Two localities from the present area of Hungary i. e. Péczel and Párád are listed in Kuth y's catalogue. Additional ones : Budapest, Kalocsa, Siófok, Pinnye, Elzalak (Nagyvisnyó), Debrecen, Zamárdi (Somogy m.), Szigetszentmiklós, Mátra, Isaszeg, Sárszentmihály. Anthrenus goliath Mulsant & Rey, 1867. Only one locality is mentioned bv Kuthy : Kalocsa. New localities : Pécs, Kopács, Sárkeszi. Anthrenus scrophulariae var. gravidus Küster, 1848. A variation found in the Balkan peninsula, Asia Minor and the Caucasus, but not reported so far from Hungary. In the Zoological Department of the Hungarian National Museum, there are preserved specimens from the following localities : Budai hegys., Orszentmiklós, Pusztababád. Anthrenus scrophulariae var. suecicus Palm, 1940. The variation has been described from specimens collected in several localities in central and southern Sweden. Later, it was also reported from Macedonia : Breznice (Kalik, 1946), from Germany : Berchtesgaden (the Alps) and from the Lithuanian SSR (Mroczkowski, 1952). It occurs also in Switzerland : Zürich, and Italy : Terranova d. P. (specimens preserved in the Zoological Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warszawa). Moreover, in the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Leningrad there are two specimens from Switzerland (without any detailed data), one from Germany : Wildbad, one specimen from Hungary : Újpest, one from the Ukrainian SSR : Charkow, and some specimens from the Russian Federal SSR : Gremjacka, Rjazanskaja District, 27. V.— 9. VI. 1908, leg. A. & V. S e m e n o v ; Koroca, Byelgorodskaja District, V. 1864, leg. Cekanowskij; Ivanovo, leg. D a n i n i. There are further specimens from the Russian Federal SSR also in the Zoological Museum of the Lomonosov University in Moscow — collected in the following localities : Kolomna, V. 1883, leg. K. A. Grève — 5 specimens ; Kockarovo near Kolomna, 3. V. 1904, leg. Dackievic — 5 specimens ; Ostafievo near Podolsk, 14. V. 1903, leg. Kocejevnin — one specimen ; Suchanovo near Podolsk, 1. IV. 1903, and 23. VI. 1904, leg. A. Dackievic — one specimen each.
