Remarks : Nearest to M. circumvectus Lyle, differring by rough punctation of mesonotum and scutellum, coloration, and length of body (irrespective of ovipositor). — I nominated the species following Szépligeti, as he labelled the specimens collected on the Mt. Svábhegy, in Budapest, as „24. tegularis m.", but failed to publish the description of the new taxon.* Microgaster fusca sp. n. Ç : Head. — Head approximately round (viewed frontally). Pubescence light. Face rugulose toward clypeus. Vertex and especially nape roughly rugulose. Antenna as long as body, 18-jointed, pubescence adpressed. Microgaster globata L., — 17. Microgaster areolaris Thoms. Thorax. — Rough and dense punctuation of mesonotum becoming fine and wrinkled distally (fig. 3). Scutellum sporadically punctate, shiny. Three ridges of metanotum well projecting. Surface roughly rugose, eventually smooth area of small extense on distal quarter. Pubescence light. Venation yellowish brown. Stigma short, ratio of length and breadth as 2:1, yellowish brown. Coxae of legs yellowish brown, otherwise yellow. Tarsus 3. darkening. Abdomen. — Outline of abdomen (as related to other species) not expressedly longitudinal-elliptic. Plate of tergite 1. almost as broad as long. * I had to modify the name ,,tegularis ,, bicause this was used for a species of Notogea.
