L ö v e, D. : Cytotaxonomical Conspectus of the Icelandic Flora. (Acta Hort. Gotoburg. 20, 4, 1956.) During the print recived author some papers which makes the following remarksindispensable. Love and Löve (1956) confirm, that in Northern Europe the tetraploid Chr. is the wide-spread species. Author approbates his conception, the herbarium specimens, of Linne (though without locality) originating probably from Sweden. For the Central- and South European diploid form the rigth name is Chr. leucanthemum L. ssp. triviale Gaud. Also Duck er t and Favarger (1956) demonstrated the diploid form from Switzerland. According to the verbal communication of J. K o r n a s, Serratula lycopifolia is. growing on gyps soils at skorotice near Kielce (Poland).
