HI. Description of new species Homoporus Birói sp. n. Female. Head and thorax black, the latter especially on the sides with very slight metallic bluish tint, the front faintly cupreous. Antennae, legs, and abdomen clear yellow, the coxae red, with bluish spot at base. Mandibles and palpi yellowish red. Tegulae yellow. Head strongly transverse, more than twice as wide as long, 2,4 : 1 (seeing from above) clearly broader (1 : 1,2) and distinctly higher than the thorax;, occiput immargined, vertex narrow, strongly narrowed behind the eyes ; hind ocelli more apart from each other than from the eye margin or from the hind margin of the vertex. Eyes almost bare, with only a few very short, hardly visible hairs. Antennae somewhat below the middle of the face, inserted on the lower ocular line ; scape slender, cylindrical, as long as the pedicel, ring joints and funicle 1 and 2 together ; pedicel almost twice as long as wide, ring joints transverse, the second joint somewhat longer than the first one ; funicle slightly but distinctly broadened toward the apex, the joints gradually shortening, the first joint nearly three times as long as wide, the last (6 th ) joint hardly longer than broad, each joint covered with adherent, whitish hairs which are a little shorter than the greatest width of the respective joint ; club somewhat longer than the two preceding joints together, distinctly 3-segmented, the apical joint forming the slightly curved stylus.
