The division of the various species into more closely allied groups can be performed now in a more complete way, than it was possible three years ago. I consider it useful therefore to give in the following a list of those species of Palaearctic Corixidae (with exception of the Micronectinae) which can be regarded at present as definitely cleared up. Only the most important synonymes are placed in the list; in the foot-notes are given references to those papers, where most recent descriptions and fuller sygnonymy may be found.
