Fore legs of the ÇÇ do not show anything remarcable. Relative length of the various parts of the intermediate and hind legs, expressed in % of the length of the femur, as follows ; Intermediate claws slightly longer than the tarsi. On the upper side of the hind femora 5—6 short spines, forming a not quite regulra longitudinal row. Strigil (fig. 12) comparatively large, elongated with 5 fairly regular combs. Right forceps (fig. 13) resembling much that of the preceding species, but more softly rounded on the curvature, and with a shorter and sharper terminal hook. Left forceps (fig. 14) similarly shaped as in the preceding species, comparatively wide, bluntly rounded at the end, with numerous short spines in the exterior portion. Inner sheath of the penis with two terminal outgrowths. Length 5—5,5 mm. The specimens, which I had for examination, were from Szamosfalva and Torda in Hungary. The above two species seem to be very closely allied, resembling much each other in the structure of the genital armature of the cfcf, in the shape of the strigil, in the shape of the pala and in the disposition of stridulatory teeth on it. as also in the pattern of the heinelytra. The comparatively large strigil. the rather small pala with two rows of stridulatory teeth, finally the shape of the right forceps seem to approach S. assimilis (FIEB.) and 8, Fussi (FIEB.) with S. striata (L.). it is, however rather difficult to decide, whether this resemblance indicates a real genetic relationship or not.
