Thorax the disk covered with ochraceous pubescence ; wings subhyaline, nervures ferruginous ; the legs beneath fringed with sooty-black pubescence; the apical joints of the tarsi rufo­testaceous, the claw-joint as long as the three preceding ones ; the posterior coxae and femora incrassate, the latter somewhat flattened beneath and produced at its apex on each side, forming 2 flat broad teeth or spines (auch bei alratus ); the spines which arm the apex of the tibiae black, long and stout.
