I fancy this species may be a variety of M. Rossii GILES. The striking difference is the spotting of the legs. These are the first specimens I have seen out side the Philippine Islands and yet I have had very large and numerous collections from Malayana. It looks so different to Rossii and as no true Rossii had occurred in the Philippine Islands I placed it as a new species at once and do not yet feel inclined to alter my opinion. 2.
