ANNUAL REPORT 2005 - A 2005. ÉV - ANDREA CZÉRE: On the catalogue by Teréz Gerszi

At the end of the catalogue proper, we find the list of abbreviated literature, the thematic index, the list of former owners, and the concordance of the Museum inventory numbers and of the numbers in the catalogue. These lists enhance the richness of information the catalogue provides and eases the orientation of specialists. The high quality printing and the good reproductions add to the joy of reading the catalogue. A catalogue that requires such in-depth research covering several fields is rare even by international standards. The result of Teréz Gerszi's meticulous and efficacious work will in all certainty provide a helpful research tool for art historians for a long time ahead. Andrea Czére NOTES: 1 T.
