ISBN 963 7063 08 0 Teréz Gerszi's book is the third among the catalogues prepared about the collection of drawings in the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts. She was the author of the first catalogue as well, which introduced the six­teenth-century drawings from the Netherlands and was published in 1971 in Amsterdam and New York. 1 Teréz Gerszi has been working for the Museum of Fine Arts since 1951. She made herself an interna­tionally recognised and often quoted author of German, and then Nederlandish drawings, and for a long time, she was Head of the Collection of Prints and Drawings. Nearing her 80th birthday (in 2007), she is still an active member of the Museum of Fine Arts, at present as Curator of the exhibition for the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth.'
