14 However, it is worth showing exceptions, partly to strengthen the critical point of view, and partly to draw attention to the importance of the amount and accuracy of the analytical data. It is true that no information is presented from certain periods. Because there is not enough data which can show the trend in addition to the exception. Data indicating content similar to that of the alloy with 28% lead can be found in every period - sometimes even larger

15 values - but these are sporadic cases. It is promising that with increasing number of modem analytic techniques and with new databases being established the accuracy of the dating is expected to be improved. Such means are not at hand yet, and it is our task contribute to an eventual database by publishing information such as the results of this study.
