From the clothing of the sitting figure (between the legs) b. From the footstool below the feet of the sitting figure (from the inner side of the footstool) c. From the tenon of the footstool d. From the chair e. From the chair base are essentially identical in their composition, while the samples taken from the chair and from its base (see diffractograms "d and e") must have been made of a different alloy due to the higher cuprite content. Samples containing no metallic copper above the detection limit can indicate a better alloy, a more sophisticated metallurgical processing and technology.
