On the narrow side of the front, on both sides, there is a double-door, for the carts, a smaller door at the side for people. The width of the doors is in accordance with the width and height of a well-stacked cart. After unloading the stacks of wheat into the compartments („fiók") on both sides, the empty cart could drive out through the back door of the barn. The older mode of threshing was to use a flail, with which the wheat was beaten the whole winter long as it was spread out in the middle or „market" area („piac") of the barn.
