Mi kerüljön a komposztba? Kerti hulladékok: fűkaszálék, fertőzésmentes lomb, ágnyesedék, gyümölcs és zöldség maradék (pl. hagymaszár; csutka), elnyílt virágok, magot még nem hozott gyomnövények, biolevek leszűrt növényanyaga, szalma, állati trágya, szőlőtörköly. Konyhai hulladékok: kávézacc, teafű, tojáshéj kis mennyiségben (apróra törve), fahamu, fűrészpor; gyaluforgács, elszáradt cserepes növények. A papír is komposztálható, gyorsan lebomlik. What should be put in the compost? Garden waste: Mowed grass, fallen leaves without contamination, cut branches, waste of fruit and vegetable (onion stalk, stamps), withered flowers, weed before it went to seed, solid remains of bio-juices after filtering, straw, animal dung, skins of pressed grapes. Kitchen waste: Coffee-grounds, tea leaves, crushed eggshells, wood-ash, sawdust, wood shavings, withered plants. Paper decays fast, therefore suitable for composting.
