Mihály Károlyi’s government. F. László Boross wrote an article demanding a socialist republic, and an economic and cultural - rather than a constitutional - revolution.25 The MA artists published a joint manifesto demanding a communist republic.26 A dedicated issue dealt with two communist martyrs of the Spartacus Uprising in Berlin, Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg.27 The MA writers translated the new Soviet constitution of 1918 and Lenin’s State and Revolution.28 These “Worldview issues” also carried Sándor Bortnyik’s em25 F.
