The ambassador of Finland, Or. Onni Talas learned of the situation and soon called on the National Museum, accompanied by a Finn industrialist. The Finn industrialist Wilhelm Hilbert payed off the award medal of SzentGyörgyi by the corresponding sum of money, then made a gift of it to the National Museum.
