KRÓNIKA
PROBON® coated tablets ANALGESIC PROBON is a new type of analgesic. While potentiating the analgetic effect of narcotic analgesics, it antagonizes their respiratory depressing action. Good tolerance and the fact that dependence fails to develop to it, render PROBON suited for prolonged administration. Composition Each coated tablet contains 300 mg Rimazolium methylsulphate (1,6-Dimethyl-3-carbethoxy-4-oxo-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-homopyrimidazole methylsulphate) as active principle. Indications Any painful condition. Owing to its favourable effect on respiration, PROBON is particularly suited for the treatment of elderly patients. It proved to be highly efficient in relieving pain accompanying chronic locomotor diseases. In severe pain unresponsive to the commonly used analgesics, it can be advantageously combined with spasmolytics and major analgesics. Dosage The average daily dose for adults is 3 to 4 times 1 coated tablet in ambulatory patients and 3 times 1 to 2 coated tablets for bed-ridden patients. Side-effects Mild nausea, vertigo or dizziness may rarely occur. Warning! PROBON enhances the effect of central depressants ; when administered simultaneously with them, the doses should be reduced according to individual need. Presentation 10 coated tablets of 300 mg.
