ADATTÁR - Antall József—R. Harkó Viola: Vehle Ferdinánd kiadatlan orvosi tanulmányi reformtervezete 1848-ból

Summary A Hungarian district medical officer Ferdinand Vehle has made one of the most interesting and individual reform plan for the Hung, medical training in 1848, He directed his open letters in this matter to József Eötvös, to the Minister of Religion, and Public Education. Vehle was aware of the importance of preliminary studies before beginning the medical studies and dedicated five letters to this problem. After discussing the concrete tasks in medical training he turned to the existencial problems of the Hungarian physicians, as concerning their state employment, salaries, refresher courses, etc. This plan was never realized but is worth to be mentioned by virtue of its cultural importance.
