MICHAELA FENSKE: Mikro-, makro-, agency. Történeti néprajz mint kulturális antropológiai praxis
MICHAELA FENSKE Micro, macro, agency - historical ethnography as cultural anthropological practice Volkskunde in its often renewed form as European ethnology is increasingly conceptualised as Europeoriented study of the present. Historical research is to be limited to "European modernities" and partly restricted to informing functions. This contribution in contrast comes out in favour of an open cultural anthropological practice, in particular regarding the range of historical research. It outlines, to what extent the new focus perpetuates old dovodong lines in the dieciplin, and which connecting factors for the overcoming of boundaries are given. Against the backdrop of own experiences in the area of historical research the various similarities ("Micro, macro, agency") are discussed, but also substantial differences between the work in the historical and in the present held. The counsciously subjective contribution would like to stimulate dialkogue between the different subjects areas.
