Its end is broken, on the surface of the break it can be seen that an iron wire was running within it. (In S. Greep's opinion it looks more like a knifehandle. A first century form.) Flat bone plate, representating a human figure in profile as shown by the marks made for the nose and eyes. At the end a hollowed area for fitting to another element. Almásfüzitő (Komárom County). Pin decorated with a row of astragalos at one end, flattened towards the other end in a tongue like protrusion. L: 21.0 cm, Diam: 0.8 cm. Inv. 10.1951.169. 53. DRESS PIN (IX. 53.) Unknown. Pin decorated with a row of astragalos at one end, flattened towards the other end in a tongue-like protrusion. L: 18.8 cm, Diam: 0.8 cm. Inv. 54.66.5. 54. DRESS PIN (IX. 54.) Unknown. The head of the pin consists of a small disc terminating in a pear shape. A collar below is formed by a rather worn double line. The other end is pointed. L: 18.6 cm, Diam: 1.0 cm. Inv. 54.66.5. 55. DRESS PIN (IX. 55.) Óbuda, Fő utca (Budapest) Pear-shaped pin head with carved double collar. L: 13.0 cm, Diam: 0.7 cm. Inv. 45.913.37a. 56. DRESS PIN (IX. 56.) Szőny (Komárom County). Cone-shaped pin with net pattern carved on its surface and a circular hole in the middle. The stern of the pin is divided into fields by double ribs. Traces of wear are discernible at the eyes of the pin, at the upper circular hole on one side traces of thread can be seen. Here the thread was passed differently to our reconstruction.
