GÉZA BENCZE - ERZSÉBET KÓCZIÁN-SZENTPÉTERI: PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT OF THE HUNGARIAN MUSEUM FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND ITS AFFILIATIONS (MUSEUM OF THE ALUMINIUM INDUSTRY, MUSEUM OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, METALLURGICAL MUSEUM, FOUNDRY MUSEUM) 2005 AND 2006 Museum for Science and Technology, Budapest 1117 Kaposvár utca 13-15. The Division of Public Collections of the Ministry of Education and Culture has, for the first time, prescribed our giving the account on the work achieved grouped into aspects headed by titles and sent us in advance. The answers given to these aspects - as completed with more table-like material as earlier - yielded a considerably more voluminous summing up. Here we are publishing the whole text of the account, which comprises the professional account on the work of the Hungarian Museum for Science and Technology and its affiliations, starting from staff problems through the increase in the volume of the collections, registration, stock protection, exhibition and scientific activities to participation in education and international connections. The account is coloured by tables of numerical data and by some documentary photographs. We hope that in the year to come the intention and form will remain unchanged, and that our work will be - in some years - fit for substantial comparative analyses too .
