th century. An inrö made by a late member of the Tsuchida family, well known from the 17

th century, or a later imitation. An inrö in the Tomkinson collection, made by the first Tsuchida Söetsu (1660-1742)?, at the age of 81, might have served as a model to the representation on our piece.
