15. Fragment of corner decoration, embroidered, Kashmir, middle of XlXth century. 2/2 twill, woven green wool ground. Satin and stem stiches with wool. Colours : red, dark red, reddish purple, purple, yellow, three shades of blue and grey. L: 29, b: 23 cm. Gift: Dr. Emil Delmár, 1911. Inv. Nr.: 8361. 16. Cover, embroidered, Kashmir, about 1860. On a green coloured silk ground the embroidery is sateen and chain stiches with silk. Assembled of seve­ral pieces. Stained: the red embroi­dery is ,,blood-stained" on several points. L: 192, b: 126 cm. Way of acquisition : unknown. Inv. Nr.: 13.968. 17. Shawl, machine-woven, probably India, second half of the XlXth century. Cotton and silk. Applied coloured corner decoration on dark red centre field. Wide border: red, purple, pink, yellow, blue, green, cream and black in recurrent yellow, black, green black, blue, black stripes. Borders and girdles are made of several pie­ces and were assembled afterwards. L: 297, b: 138 cm. Gift: Dr. István Delhaes, 1909. Inv. Nr.: 10.660. 18. Shawl, machine-woven, probably India, second half of XlXth cen­tury. Silk warps beamed in groups and dyied sectionally. Colours: ver­million, yellow, brimstone-coloured, blue, green and ivory. Torn, holed, defective. L: 324, b: 145 cm. Way of acquisition: unknown. Inv. Nr.: 51.1552. 19. Cover, machine-wo ven, Europe, probably France, second half of the XlXth century. Cotton, on ivory coloured plain cloth ground in recurrent rows and in the corners, terracotta, mustard, blue, grey, drab and white decora­tion, discoloured. Defective, torn on several pieces. L: 166, b: 159 cm. Gift: Gábor Székely, 1949. Inv. Nr.: 24.425. 20. Shawl, so called cape, machine­woven, Turkey, about 1870. On cream merino wool ground fabric light red, light purple, blue, yellow, green, black most brilliant coloured pattern with brocade technique; these tints are unusual in the Kash­mir colour scale. L: 162, b: 88 cm. Gift: Dr. Ottó Fettick, 1952. Inv. Nr.: 2122.
