Its characteristic features are a ringed pedestal, a bulging body, a slightly concave arching between the body and the neck, a compressed neck and a splaying brim. It is probably hammered, but this cannot be established with certainty. The mouth and the ring closing the pedestal are cast and soldered on separately. The material seems to be harder and more solid than that of later specimens. It has a tracé decoration. The decoration of the mouth and neck is the 16 233
