PRUSSIAN WAR GODS. A LESSING VOLUME IN THE BOOK COLLECTION OF THE MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM Lessing's "Minna von Barnbelm" has been considered as one of the greatest and bestknown German comedies so far. A print of the play, which was translated into Hungarian by Pal Rat and published under the tide "A Soldier's Fortune or Minna of Barnbelm''' in 1790, is a precious item of the Book Collection of the Military History Museum. In her study, the author provides a thorough analysis of the book and introduces the cultural significance of this important source of literature, theatre and military history. PREUßISCHE KRIEGSGÖTTER EIN LESSING-BAND IN DER BUCHSAMMLUNG DES HEERESGESCHICHTLICHEN MUSEUMS Das Theaterstück von Lessing „Minna von Barnhelm" gilt bis zum heutigen Tag als eine der besten und bekanntesten deutschen Komödien. Das Stück wurde von Pal Rät ins Ungarische übersetzt und 1790 herausgeben. In der Buchsammlung des Heeresgeschichtlichen Museums ist ein Exemplar von dieser Ubersetzung aufbewahrt und gilt als wertvolles Stück der Sammlung. In Zusammenhang mit diesem, vom Standpunkt der Publikations-, Literatur- und Theatergeschichte, bzw. Militär geschieh te bedeutenden Dokument versucht die Studie eine komplexe Analyse über die Publikation und ihre kulturhistorische Bedeutung zu geben.
