OPENING SPEECH AT THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION "FROM THE PIAVE TO THE DON RIVER" The author delivered his speech at the opening ceremony of the Military History Museum's new permanent exhibition "From the Piave to the Don River", the first chapter of a large-scale exhibition project. In die speech, the author demonstrated the structure of the exhibition material, and highlighted the importance of certain units in reflecting social aspects. He also emphasised the accomplishments of the Hungarian ordnance industry in the interwar period and spoke highly of the modernity of the exhibition and the high standards of implementation. VON PIAVE BIS ZUM DON. ERÖFFNUNGSREDE ZUR STÄNDIGEN AUSSTELLUNG DES HEERESGESCHICHTLICHEN MUSEUMS Der veröffentlichte Aufsatz enthält die Eröffnungsrede zu einem Teil der ständigen Ausstellung „Von Piave bis Don". Der Autor beleuchtet die Zusammensetzung und die inhaltliche Vielfältigkeit des Sammlungsmaterials, d.h. die Grundlage der Ausstellung, bzw. weist er auf die gesellschaftlichen Wirkungen einzelner größeren inhaltlichen Einheiten hin. Besonders betont er die Ereignisse der ungarischen Kriegsindustrie. Er würdigt die moderne Ansichtsweise und die anspruchsvolle Ausführung der Ausstellung.
