Helyszínrajz a Budavári Palota angol (tájképi) kertjetői a XIX. sz. közepén. országi Pireneusokban honos virágot a szokásos módon magról eddig nem sikerült szaporítani, sem egyetlen példányát felnevelni. Pedig érdemes lenne visszatelepíteni, a régi hagyományok, a régi hangulatok felújítása érdekében. A kertek, a hangulatot aláfestő, megfelelő növényzet kiemeli a Vár patinás épületeinek varázsát, segíti a mai látogatót, hogy megértse, átérezze a letűnt korok, a régi magyarság értékeit. EvA JESZENSZKY Bucsi GARDENS OF BUDA CASTLE TROUGH THE EYES OF A GARDENER SUMMARY This study briefly reviews the historical development of Hungarian horticulture at Buda castle. By referring to existing sources, we may gain insight into the chronicle of the development of both the decorative and productive gardens at Buda Castle. The history of the gardens is outlined from their beginnings in 1095 to 1966. Trough the introduction of various plants, the autor evokes by-gone traditions, the atmosphere of the medieval gardens, and provokes the thought of restoring them to their former glory. 335
