Feltárások az Aranyhegyi-patak menti temetőben (Lassányi Gábor)

irányban tovább húzódik. (TOPÁL 2003, 165) A korábbi ásatások alapján a következő ismereteink voltak a temetőről. Az Aranyhegyi-patak menti temető egyelőre feltáratlan nyomvonalú, nagyjából kelet-nyugati iramú út mellett fekszik a polgárvárostól nyugati irányban, a nyugati városfaltól mintcgv 200 méterre. A temető északi iramban az Óbudai MÁV pályaudvar alá húzódik, dél felé pedig a területen már az újkorban átvezetett Arany-árok túloldalán folytatódik. Keleti irányban a temetkezések legalább a Kunigunda útja - Keled utca kereszteződéséig megtalálhatóak. Azonban az előbbi út túl oldalán, az egykori Katonai Lókórház (anvagraktár) alatt már a Flavius kortól a Kr. u. 140-es évekig működő fazekastelep állt (NAGY L. 1042, 629-630; ZSIDI 2002, 99). A temetőt nyugati irányban a fenti kereszteződéstől mintegy 300 méter távolságig tárták fel, bár már Nagv Lajos is biztos volt benne, hogy a sírkertek sora tovább folytatódik. A korábbi ásatási eredmények alapján a 2004-ben végzett munkák legfontosabb céljai az alábbiak voltak: 1. Megismerni és geodéziailag pontosan bemérni a Nagv Lajos által feltárt és térképre rajzolt sírkerteket és sírokat, ellenőrizve az egvkori alaprajz pontosságát. 2. Kutatóárkokkal hitelesítő ásatásokat végezni a Nagy Lajos által feltárt területen, megvizsgálva, hogv az eredeti összesítő rajzon a sírok között üresen hagyott területeken folvtak-e feltárások, illetve maradtak-e feltáratlan objektumok. 3. In 1956, Melinda Kaba conducted small-scale excavations in the centre of the territory unearthed by Lajos Nagv, and in 1978, she unearthed further graveyards on the southern side of Aranyárok demonstrating that the cemetery extended farther to the south (TOPÁL 2003, 165). We know the follow ing from the results of the former excavations: The cemetery on the Aranyhegyi stream lies along an as yet uninvestigated road running approximately in an east—west direction west of the Civil Town, about 200 m from the western wall of the town. In the north, the cemetery extends under the Óbuda MAY railway station, while in the east it continues on the other side of Aran\-árok, which was driven across this territory in modern times. In the east, burials can be found at least until the crossing at Kunigunda Road and Keled Street, but a pottery was already standing on the other side of the first road beneath the Military Horse Hospital (depot), which was active from the Flavian period to the AD 140s (NAGY L. 1942, 629-630; ZSIDI 2002, 99). The cemetery was unearthed up to a distance of about 300 m from this crossing towards the west, although Lajos Nagv had already been convinced that the row of graveyards extended even farther to the west.
