12. kép: A Dunaparton napfényre került cölöpköteg Fig. 12: Bunch of posts on the Danube bank került cölöpök a meder aljából körülbelül 5-55 centiméter magasságban álltak ki. A legjellegzetesebb az a nyolc cölöpből álló bokor volt, közvetlenül a kotrás peremén, ami a mederre derékszöbcn álló két sorban elhelyezkedő cölöpsortól a folyás irányával szemben, 3 méterre helyezkedett cl. A két sorban levert cölöp nyugati sora csaknem nyíl egyenesen halad a part irányában, azonban az ettől a sortól keletre néhány deciméter távolságban levő cölöpsor már nem volt olyan szabályosan leverve. Az összesen 12 oszlopbéíl álló cölöpsor a mélyített medertől 6,5 méterig volt követhető a parti kavicsos fövenyben. Ettől a cölöpsortól nyugati irányban 7,5, 10,5 majd 20 méterre találtuk egy-egy cölöpöt nagyjából párhuzamosan elhelyezkedve a mederkotrás peremével. A cölöpök mellett north-south running dirch no. 5 between 66 and 67.5 meters, and was not connected with the Roman orientation system. Its fill contained loess, clayey rubble, as if it was the western ditch for the road or square. It lay at a depth of 236 cm at 66.80 meters. It was 124 cm. wide. We found an inhumation burial oriented southwest-northeast at a depth of 195 cm between 75 and 77 meters. It may be dated from the second half of the AD 3 rd century The grave goods included a drinking set, a jug with a chipped rim and a red-painted yellow cup beside it, placed by the feet of the deceased (Fig. 11). West of this grave we found undisturbed surfaces up until Hársfa Street during the digging of a modern channel in September. Here, 4 graves with the same orientation were found. All lacked grave furniture. These skeletons also probably came from the Roman cemetery. The extremely low water levels of the Danube allowed us to document altogether 23 posts and bunches of posts on the right side of the river in the foreground of the fort (Fig. 12). Until now they lay under water on the edge of the dredged basin. The posts protruded from the bottom of the basin to a height of about 5—55 cm. Their most characteristic feature was a bunch of eight posts right on the edge of the dredged basin, which was situated 3 m away from the two rows of posts standing right angle to the basin. The western row of posts ran in a nearly perfectly straight line to the bank, while the other post row appeared a few decimeters to the east, was not so regularly placed. The post row with 12 posts could be followed from the dredged basin to 6.5 m in the gravelly bank. West of this post row, a post was found at 7.5, 10.5 and 20 meters, more
