Régészeti feltárások az aquincumi katonaváros területén (Budapest, III. ker., Fényes Adolf utca 4., Lajos utca lll.-Fényes Adolf utca 5., Szőlő utca 22., Vályog utca 6., Hrsz.: 17796, 17809, 1748 í, 17016/2) 2001. folyamán a római kori katonaváros leginpozánsabb korszakáról, a 3. századi városképről szereztük a legtöbb információt, tehát az év feltárásait ezúttal nem előkerülésük sorrendjében, hanem topográfiai helyzetük szerint ismertetjük. (I. kép) A Fényes Adolf utca 4. telken, a MATHILDE 2000 Számítástechnikai Kft. új irodaházának alapozási munkái előtt végeztünk ásatást, ahol nyomon követhettük a limesutat nyugatról szegélyező épületsor egyik nagy lakóházának építéstörténetét.
