The building was reconstructed between the reign of Caracalla and Alexander Severus in the first half of the 3 rd century. The large number of mural fragments found in the area can be dated to the same period. This dwelling house was systematically pulled down at the time the district was evacuated. The roof beams were lined up in a row, (Fig. 4.) then the walls were pulled down. The stone material from the main walls were transported away, the dividing walls made of adobe bricks were levelled.
