Ujabb sírok az aquincumi katonaváros nyugati temetőjéből (Budapest, III. ker., Bécsi út 62. és Bécsi út 80., Hrsz.: 14741,14732/1) (In memóriám Juhász István) A katonavárosi amfiteátrumtól délnyugatra két telek megelőző feltárására került sor a 2000. esztendőben. Mindkét esetben a beruházók költségén ásathattunk, a beépítési szándéknak megfelelően teljes felületen (650, illetve 600 négyzetméter). Egyfelől rutinfeladatként állt előttünk a Kis-Kecske hegy keleti lejtőjének átvizsgálása, tudva, hogy a korábban kutatott „nadrágszíjparcellák" (Bécsi út 48., 50., 52.) közel azonos mértékű újkori beépítettségével és a korábbról jól ismert terepadottságokkal kell számolnunk, ugyanakkor e nagy római temetőn belül olyan egymáshoz közeli szakaszokat ismertünk meg, ahol eltérő a temetkezések időrendje (például a legkorábbi sírok megjelenése) és a két területen alkalmazott temetkezési módok (rítusok) aránya. In both cases, the investors financed excavations, covering the whole territory designated for construction work (650 and 600 square metres respectively). The research on the eastern slope of the Kis-Kecske hill was a routine task since the excavations on the long and narrow lots (48, 50 and 52 Bécsi Road), where similar modern buildings had been encountered and with well known topographical traits, already indicated what could be expected here. At the same time, sections of the large Roman cemetery located close by could be unearthed.
