11. Nagytétény-CAMPONA (Kocsis László)

Nagytétény-CAMPONA (Budapest, XXIL ker., Szent Flórián tér, Hrsz.: 232422) 2000 júniusától tovább folytatódott Nagytétényben az ötödik évadba lépő, 12 hétig tartó ásatás. Az idei kutatásokkal, hasonlóképpen az elmúlt időszak feltárásaihoz, a régi ásatási eredmények és azok pontos helyszíneinek azonosítása mellett a közeljövőben kialakítandó Campona-Régészeti Park tervezéséhez szükséges adatokat kívántuk tovább bővíteni. Az idén az erőd keleti főkapuja, a porta principalis sinistra körzetében két helyszínen folytattuk tovább az előző években megkezdett kutatásokat: Egyrészt újabb adatokat nyertünk a via principalis és az erődfalat belülről követő út, a via sagularis kereszteződésében a kapu és a kaputornyok közvetlen szomszédságában levő tér történetére vonatkozólag. Másrészt a keleti kapu patkó alakú elfalazása mögötti terület kutatási eredményei szolgáltatnak további adatokat és helyezik új megvilágításba a kapu és az erőd későbbi hasznosításának történetét. A keleti kapu és szűkebb környezete az 1996-ban létrehozott, a pontos tájékozódást elősegítendő blokkrendszerünk szerint észak-déli irányban a „V" és a „W", kelet-nyugati irányú vonalon pedig a 13, 14, és a 15-ös blokkok szelvényeibe esik. (1. kép) Nagytétény - CAMPONA (Budapest, XX//, Szent Flórián Square, Lot reg.no.: 232422) The fifth season of excavations at Nagytétény lasted 12 weeks from June 2000. This year, similarly to the excavations of previous seasons, the aim was the authentication of old excavations results and pinpointing the exact locations of structures as well as to gather more data for the design of the Campona Archaeolo-gical Park to be established in the near future. This year, we carried on with research started last year at two spots by the eastern main gate of the fort, at the porta principalis sinistra. On the one hand, we gathered more data concerning the history of the area next to the gate and the gate towers on the crossing of the via principalis, and the via sagularis, the road that ran along the inner side of the wall of the fort. On the other hand, the study of the area behind the horseshoe-shaped walled-in eastern gate shed new light on the history of the later use of the gate and the fort.
