10. Szondázó jellegű feltárások a Budapest, III. ker. Pusztakúti út mentén (Lassányi Gábor - Szilas Gábor)

2. kép: Későbronzkori edények Fig. 2.: Late Bronze Age vessels park területén végeztünk szondázó jellegű feltárását a CRANIUM Kft. megbízásából. A Péterhegy lábánál létesített egykori téglagyár központi részén található kutatási terület meglehetősen bolygatott volt, korábban sűrű beépítettsége, valamint a terület előközművesítése miatt csupán két szondázó árokban volt lehetőségünk régészeti megfigyeléseket tenni. Az első, 3x40 méteres szondát - a szomszédos ásatással összhangban - a Pusztakúti úttal párhuzamosan nyitottuk, ám nem tudtuk teljes mértékben feltárni, mivel középtájon egy betonalapozású építmény akadályozta munkánkat (l/A illetve 1/B szelvény). Az l/A szelvényben csak egy, a The excavation area lay in the central part of the former brickyard at the foot of Péterhegy (Péter hill). The surface was rather disturbed, and due to the closely built-in buildings and the public utilities laid in advance, only two test trenches could be opened. The first 3 x 40 m test trench was opened parallelly to the Pusztakúti Road and adjusted to the former excavations in the neighbouring lot. It could not entirely be unearthed since a concrete foundation from a construction hampered our work (Trenches 1/A and 1/B). Only one vague prehistoric culture bearing layer could be detected in trench 1/A in the sub-humus and right above it, while the fragments of two pits could be unearthed in trench 1/B (features 1 and 2). Pit no. 2, 70 cm deep with a diameter of 150 cm and a bench, yielded an especially rich find material. (Fig. 3.) The fill contained several sherds with hornshaped knobs characteristic of the early Iron Age, and many daub fragments and stones. The floor level of daub fragments connected to the pit
