cccxxxrii. SZÁM. 175 gariaii Monarchy, the Siamese authorities shall afford the Creditor every aid and facIIity, to recover all that is due to him. In like manner the Imperial and Royal Consular offieer shall give every assistance to Siamese subjects to recover debts which may be due to them by citizens of the said Monarchy. ARTICLE. XV. In case of the decease of one of their respective subjects in the dominion of the one or the other of the high Contracting Parties, his property shall be delivered unto the executor of his wIIl, or if none have been appointed, unto the famIIy of the deceased or unto his partners in business. If the defunct possesses neither a famIIy nor partners in business, his property shall, in the dominions of both the High Contracting Powers be placed as far as the laws of the land permit it, under the charge and control of the respective Consular officers, in order that these may deal with it in the customary manner according to the Laws and usages of their Country. ARRICLE XVI. The Imperial and Royal ships of war shall be at liberty to enter the river and anchor at Paknam. but they must inform the Siamese Authorities of their intention of going up to Bangkok, and have an under standing with the Said Authorities concerning the place where they are to anchor. ARTICLE XVII. Should a vessel, belonging to the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, in distress enter into a Siamese Port, the local Authorities shall give every possible assistance for her being repaired and revictualed, so that she may be enabled to continue her voyage. Should a vessel, belonging to the said Monarchy be wrecked on the coast of the Kingdom of Siarn, the Siamese Authorities of the nearest place, being informed thereof, shall immediately give every possible assistance to the crew, shall supply their wants, and take all measures necessary for the salvage and protection of the vessel and cargo, and shall afterwards inform the Imperial and Roy&l Consular officer of what has been done by the said authorities, in ordre that the Consul, together with the tagadná, vagy a fizetéstől menekedni iparkodnék, a siami hatóságok a hitelezőnek minden segélyt és támogatást nyujtandnak arra, hogy sajátjához jusson. Hasonlóképen a es. es kir. consulsági tisztviselő is siami alattvalóknak minden kitelhető segélyt "^og nyújtani arra nézve, hogy netalani követeléseik az emiitett monarchia alattvalói ellenében behajtassanak. XV. CZIKK. Ha az egyik vagy másik magas szerződő fél alattvalója a másik területén elhal, az elhunyt hagyatéka végrendelete végrehajtójának, vagy ennek hiányában, az elhunyt családjának vagy üzlettársainak szolgáltatandó ki. Ha a kimultnak sem családja, sem üzlettársa nem volt, hagyatéka mindtó magas szerződő hatalom államaiban, a mennyire az ország törvényei megengedik, az IIlető consuiatusi tisztviselő őrizetébe fog átadatni, hogy azok szokott módon országuk törvényei és szokásai szerint bánjanak el vele. XVI. CZIKK. A csász. és kir. hadibajók a folyóba befuthatnak és Paknamnál horgonyt vethetnek ; ha azonban Bangkokba akarnak menni, a siami hatóságokat tudósitani és azokkal a horgonyhelyre nézve megegyezni kötelesek. XVII. CZIKK. Ha az osztrák-magyar birodalom valamely hajója siami kikötőbe szükség által kényszerítve futna be, a helybeli hatóságok minden lehető segélyt fognak neki nyújtani a szükséges javítások megtétele és fris élelmi szerek bevitele végett, hogy képes legyen utját folytatni. Ha valamely, az emiitett monarchiához tartozó hajó Siam királyság partján hajótörést szenvedne, ennek hirére a legközelebbi hely siami hatóságai a személyzetnek minden lehető támogatást kötelesek nyújtani, szükségleteiken segiteni és minden intézkedést megtenni, mely a hajó és rakmányának oltalmára szükséges ; ezután a es. kir. consuiatusi tisztviselőt arról, mi részökről történt, tudósítják, hogy az az IIletékes siami hatósággal egyetértőleg a szükséges lépése-
