to fill this marvellous electronic “cornucopia” of Emily Dickinson’s art. In our country there also some similar efforts in order to come closer to the verbal treasury of our greatest poets. Two of the most widely and effectively used ones are the Balassi and Zrínyi „lexicons”, and, unfortunately, only the first one is available on the internet. But this material is a mere list of words, it is not enriched with several essays, additional articles and information, just the word by word text of the book can be reached in an electronic way.327 (Ja- kab-Bölcskei 2000; Beke 2004) But the Emily Dickinson Dictionary, with its vivid and moveable nature, can also serve as a well-functioning, widely reachable model for the Hungarian academic circles as well, besides its evident significance and role in the studies of art of the English-speaking world.
